The 2024 Clean House Calendars are finally on sale in my Etsy shop. The Monthly Calendar First up is the Monthly calendar.  This is a printable monthly calendar to help you get your home and life clean and organized.  Each page of the calendar includes the following: A Monthly Calendar - with squares large enough to write appointments and track where you (or the kiddos) need to be. Weekly Task List - to check off what needs to be done each day of the week to get and keep your home clean and organized.  It also schedules time for hobbies and/or play. Daily Task List - to check off what needs to be done daily to keep your home clean. Monthly Task List - to check off those special items that need to be done monthly or seasonally. The calendar is designed to be printed on 11 x 17 paper, bound, and hung in your home command center.  I hole punch the pages and hang the calendar on 3M Command Hooks.  The Weekly Calendar Next is the Weekly calendar, also designed to be printed on 11 x 17 pape

January 2024 Sketch and Tic Tac Toe Challenge Entry

It's been a few months since I participated in the Sketch Challenge over on Rochelle Spears's Blog and the Tic Tac Toe Challenge at the Scrap with Stacy Blog .  But I want to scrap more in 2024, so I decided to use these challenges to kick-start the year. Here is my entry for January. For the Tic Tac Toes Challenge, I used Numbers, Tags, and 2 Photos, horizontally across the middle. I would like to tell you where all my supplies are from, but, to be honest, I don't know.  All the supplies I used for this layout were either from my stash or in my scrap pile.  I know the little red Mickey Mouse squares were from a swap I participated in back in 2002!!! Enjoy, B.

Media/Game Closet

Back in 2006, when we were building our home, we converted one of our linen closets into a media closet.  This is where we stored our cable box/DVR, DVD player, and all of our DVDs.  Then, my husband ran the cables from these devices through the attic to our TV above the fireplace.  It was marvelous not having to look at all those cords.  They are the bane of my existence.  Once these items had a home, a few shelves were left, so I decided this would be the home of all our games.  Thus, the Media/Game closet was born. Fast forward to 2024, and we no longer have a cable box, a DVD Player, or even a TV.  So now it's just a game closet. You may not have a game closet.  But I bet you have games stored somewhere in your home.  This week is the week to clean and organize that area.   Below, I'm including my Media/Game Closet cleaning checklist.  If you would like a copy, simply click on the image, and you can download it. Enjoy, B.

Coat Closet/Mud Room

Over the cold, snowy weekend, I lost focus on getting a blog post out and instead scrapbooked.  So, I'm a little late getting this post up.  But better late than never.  This week, the Clean House Calendar's cleaning task is the Entry/Mudroom.  Here is a cleaning checklist to help you get your entry/mudroom cleaned and organized without getting overwhelmed.  Click on the checklist below to download your copy. Enjoy, B.

Happy New Year!

Welcome to 2024!  Welcome to the Clean House Calendar!  I'm Britia (pronounced Brita, like the water filter.)  And this is my little home on the internet. Have y'all ever picked a 'Word of the Year' or participated in the 'One Little Word' challenge?  class?  I decided this year I would pick a 'Word of the Year.'  A word that will focus and guide my goals for the year.  My "Word of the Year' is FAITH.   Matthew 17:20 says, “ You don’t have enough faith,” Jesus told them. “I tell you the truth, if you had faith even as small as a  mustard   seed , you could say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it would move. Nothing would be impossible.” NLT   Then Hebrews 11:1 says, " Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."   KJV    Dictionary.com defines faith as " confidence or trust in a person or thing or  belief that is not based on proof."   Martin Luther King, Jr. said,  "F
